HAROPA PORT, the authority representing the ports of Le Havre, Rouen and Paris, is offering its multifunctional crane barge / water injection dredger (WID) Brotonne for sale.
Built in 1984, this vessel has succesfully carried out multiple tasks in the port of Rouen and on the river Seine.
In the first years, this consisted primarily of lifting and salvage operations.
Following the installation of a water injection system in 2000, it also has been a valuable tool in dredging operations by means of bed levelling.

The Brotonne is self-propelled and is equipped with two Hydroamor stern thrusters.
It's lifting capacity is 90 tonnes and for water injection dredging it is equipped with a Cummins KTA50 engine of 1,193 kW.

The sale will take place on behalf of HAROPA PORT via a public bidding procedure organised by the French State, namely "Les Enchères du Domaine", which is part of the "Direction Générale des Finances Publiques".
